She began her career as a street outreach worker in the South Bronx, NY, and has since taken on progressive leadership roles, tackling systemic barriers that prevent individuals and organizations from achieving better outcomes.

Yolanda’s work has taken her to global platforms, including the United Nations, Balm In Gilead, and numerous conferences, workshops, and training sessions. She has developed and restructured mental health, community-based, and outreach programs, making her a sought-after expert in nonprofit leadership, innovation, and funding strategy.
