PASTOR KAREY-ANN BLAKE HICKS TO BRING PROPHETIC PRAISE AND PURPOSE TO PRAYER PARTNER ALLIANCE RETREAT

Bethany Beach, DE – June 2, 2025 – The Prayer Partner Alliance Retreat, hosted by Causing to Forget, proudly announces Pastor Karey-Ann Blake Hicks as a featured speaker and worship leader. Known for her powerful voice in worship and her unwavering faith, Pastor Karey-Ann is set to bring a transformative experience to attendees through praise, prayer, and the Word.

A Journey of Worship, Leadership, and Purpose

Pastor Karey-Ann’s ministry began over two decades ago under the mentorship of Apostle Delores Copeland and Apostle Phillip Copeland at New Birth Deliverance Christian Center (NBDCC). It was there, at age 22, that she surrendered her life to Christ and began serving with passion in worship and youth ministry. Her unique background in music, dance, and the performing arts enriched her contributions to the church’s praise and dance teams. She quickly rose to become the praise and worship leader, inspiring many through her Spirit-led leadership and heartfelt ministry.

She was later ordained as a youth minister, where she brought compassion and direction to the spiritual journeys of young believers. Her ability to connect, encourage, and lead has helped shape a generation committed to faith and purpose.

Academic and Spiritual Credentials

Pastor Karey-Ann holds a:

  • Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Development from the New York State Department of Education
  • Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Science from Queens Borough Community College
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Victorious College of Theology in Brooklyn, NY

These academic achievements support her ministry with a blend of practical wisdom and deep theological insight, enriching her teaching and leadership.

Keynote Session at the Retreat

At this year’s retreat, Pastor Karey-Ann will present her keynote session titled “Hearing and Understanding the Call to Purpose.” This session is crafted to awaken spiritual gifts, ignite confidence, and guide participants in recognizing and walking in their divine callings.

Her message is clear: “It’s time to step forward in faith and embrace the call God has placed on your life.”

A Heart for Worship and Wholeness

Pastor Karey-Ann is widely celebrated for her prophetic praise and worship, intercessory prayer, and a ministry style that promotes healing, restoration, and empowerment. As a devoted wife, leader, and community voice, she lives out her calling with humility and passion.
