From Youth Minister to Powerful Spiritual Leader, Pastor Karey-Ann Inspires with Unwavering Faith and a Passion for Worship
Baltimore — Pastor Karey-Ann Blake Hicks is a transformative spiritual leader, recognized for her dedication to worship, prayer, and ministry. Known as a beacon of faith, resilience, and devotion, Pastor Karey-Ann has spent over two decades inspiring others through her fervent prayers and spirit-filled worship. Her journey, which began at age 22, has flourished into a dynamic ministry that brings hope and healing to communities, motivating others to deepen their faith and pursue their God-given purpose.
Pastor Karey-Ann’s ministry began under the mentorship of Apostle Delores Copeland and Apostle Phillip Copeland at New Birth Deliverance Christian Center (NBDCC). It was here she committed her life to Jesus Christ and found her calling to serve. Her early years at NBDCC allowed her to blend her background in music, dance, and performing arts with worship, joining the church’s praise and dance team. Pastor Karey-Ann’s passion and dedication to worship soon led to her appointment as the praise and worship leader, a role in which she inspired others to strengthen their faith through music and praise.
In addition to her leadership in worship, Pastor Karey-Ann’s heart for guiding youth inspired her ordination as a youth minister within NBDCC. Her compassionate leadership and her ability to connect with youth have helped shape young believers’ spiritual journeys, cultivating lasting faith and personal connections to God.
Pastor Karey-Ann’s educational background further strengthens her ministry work. She holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education and Development from the New York State Department of Education, an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Science from Queens Borough Community College, and a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Victorious College of Theology in Brooklyn, New York. These qualifications provide a strong foundation for her work, allowing her to approach ministry with both theological insight and practical knowledge.
As a featured speaker at the upcoming Causing to Forget Retreat (organized by www.causingtoforget.org), Pastor Karey-Ann will present her keynote session, “Hearing and Understanding the Call to Purpose.” This inspiring session is designed to help participants identify and embrace their unique callings, guiding them to step boldly into their purpose. Attendees will experience Pastor Karey-Ann’s heartfelt message as she leads “the called” forward in faith and purpose.
