Dr. Ubiwa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Silver Spring, Maryland. She offers both in-person and online therapy to individuals and couples. Committed to fostering genuine transformation, she describes herself as “your catalyst for positive change,” with a goal of helping clients flourish, thrive, and prosper in all aspects of life.
With a rich cultural background combining Jamaican and Nigerian heritage with a New York upbringing Dr. Ubiwa brings deep cultural sensitivity and insight to her work. She offers therapy infused with empathy and understanding that honors diversity and lived experience.
Dr. Ubiwa specializes in navigating complex life transitions through individual and couples therapy. Her areas of expertise include depression, life changes, relationship conflict, self-esteem challenges, and infidelity. Her therapeutic approach is warm, individualized, and deeply relational.
