About Guest Speaker Wes Ifan
Wes Ifan is a highly experienced Financial Advisor with over 20 years in financial services, having worked with major retail banks, investment firms, and as an entrepreneur. As the founder of Kobo Wealth Strategies, he is dedicated to helping individuals and families budget, insure, and invest wisely to achieve financial freedom.
Wes is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Biological Science and an MBA in Business Strategy. He also earned a Master of Divinity from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. His professional journey includes roles at PNC Bank, JP Morgan Chase, NY Life Insurance, and Allied Wealth Partners, where he specialized in workplace benefit plans and life insurance strategies for estate planning.
Wes’s structured and effective approach focuses on empowering clients to make informed financial decisions, ensuring their financial goals are met. In addition to his financial expertise, Wes serves as a pastor at First Reformed Church in Hawthorne, NJ, is a published author, and a musician. He holds multiple certifications, including FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, and is licensed to offer life and variable insurance products across multiple states.
