2022 Grief and Loss Event – I Did Not Know I was Grieving

Attending the 2022 Ambiguous Loss Retreat was a transformative experience for me. Before the retreat, I had been feeling a persistent, undefinable sadness that I couldn’t quite place. I was going through the motions of daily life, but something was missing, and I couldn’t figure out what it was. The retreat provided a safe space to explore these feelings. Through guided discussions, prayer sessions, and one-on-one support, I was able to confront the pain I had been carrying. I learned that it’s okay to grieve losses that are not always clear-cut or traditionally recognized.  One of the most healing aspects of the retreat was the community. Sharing my story and hearing others’ experiences made me feel less alone. We supported each other, prayed together, and offered encouragement. This sense of community was incredibly powerful and played a significant role in my healing process.
